The controversial mural by Ernest Zacharevic was erased off with white paint by the Johor Bahru City Council workers. The newly-added Lego policeman that was to 'save' it did not materialized.
A picture of a policeman was added next to Ernest Zacharevic 's street art of a girl and a robber the night before. In the morning and lunch time, many came and took pictures of these 3 characters. Many expressed positively towards these pictures. By 4pm, these pictures were gone.....
Ernest Zacharevic, a Lithuanian-born, is an internationally-acclaimed street artist. His street arts in the forms of murals are well recognized and accepted in Penang.
